The St. Michael Church of Melanesia in Marasa, West Guadalcanal now has a new Priest who was ordained over the weekend.
He is Thomas Venjo, who will serve at the Church.
SIBC stringer for Northwest Guadalcanal John Toki reports, Priest Venjo was ordained by the Bishop of the Dioceses of Guadalcanal, Reverend Nathan Tome.
Reverend Tome called on Christians at Marasa to work together with the newly ordained priest to ensure Christian living in their community.
The ordination was attended by a large number of people in West Guadalcanal.
