Farmers in North West Guadalcanal have received wheelbarrows and tools from their Member of Parliament.
SIBC Stringer, John Toki reports Bodo Dettke gave out 400 wheelbarrows and a number of agricultural tools in efforts to support people to access basic tools to produce copra and cocoa for their income.
Toki also reports the wheelbarrows are expected to lessen the burden of carrying their food produce from gardens to the main road where it will be transported to the Central Market.
The wheelbarrows and tools were distributed to farmers from Sahalu to Gautabu in North West Guadalcanal.
