NO TSUNAMI THREAT FOR SOLOMON ISLANDS: S.I. MET SERVICE

The Solomon Islands Meteorological Service has issued a \’No Tsunami Threat to the country\’.

This follows an earthquake of magnitude 6.9 this morning at approximately 263 km East Southeast Off the East Coast of Honshu, Japan.

No further updates will be issued unless the situation changes.
