NEW ZEALAND QUALIFIED FOR FIFA U-17 WORLD CUP IN CHILE

New Zealand U-17 team has qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile.

This came about after the boys beat Tahiti five goals to four in a penalty shootout today.

The game was held at Pago Park Soccer Stadium in Pago Pago American Samoa.

SIBC Sports understands the U-17 World Cup will be held in October.

Solomon Islands bowed out in the pool stage of the tournament.
