LATE SIR GEORGE LEPPING DESCRIBED AS \”GENUINE NATIONAL SERVANT\”

The Western Provincial Government has described the late Sir George Lepping as a genuine national servant.

In a condolence message to Lady Lepping and family, the Western Provincial Government say Sir George was a true servant of Solomon Islands who served the government and its people in various capacities including as Governor General.

It says the country has certainly lost one of its statesmen, counsellor, advisor and a true patriot.

The Western Provincial Government adds the Late Sir George is irreplaceable.

It acknowledges his service to the people of Solomon Islands.
