Communities in Afio, Small Malaita have joined the rest of the country in celebrating the festive season.
Richard Hou reports, the Roman Catholic Church and SSEC Church in Afio held services followed by Christmas lunch with their families.
He says Tawaiseu was of the communities.
\”After the church service all families come together to have lunch prepared in an island style.\”
Mr Hou says other communities around Afio are currently hosting sports tournaments as part of their Christmas festivities.
