No Tsunami threat is issued for the country.
A statement from the Solomon Islands Meteorological Service this morning says this follows an undersea earthquake of magnitude 5.2 which occurred after half-past nine this morning near Sirovanga, Choiseul Province.
The statement adds no further updates will be issued unless the situation changes.
