Member of Parliament for East Guadalcanal Bradley Tovosia and the Premier of Guadalcanal Province Anthony Veke are currently facing charges of abuse of office and demanding with menace.
The two men appeared before the Magistrate Court yesterday behind bars.
They were both charged with one count of abuse of office.
Mr Tovosia is also facing 13 counts of demanding with menace.
They were released on bail and will appear again before the Court on the 29th of this month.
