She buried her baby girl in a shallow grave at Kaibia shortly after giving birth.

A man rescued the newborn from the grave and took her to the hospital where she received medical attention.

Recent reports in the media showed the baby girl, now one-year-old, happy and healthy with her adopted parents.

Meanwhile in a separate case, the High Court has adjourned its judgement for three men accused of killing a bus driver at Vura 3 for next year.

The three men allegedly attacked the bus driver on the night of April 2, 2012 and he reportedly died as a result of a blunt trauma to his head.

Justice Francis Manesalua says he has received a submission from a defence Counsel and he has to go through it before passing his judgement.

The verdict was adjourned to January 10th next year.
