The High Court has sentenced two men from Isabel province for incest and rape.
One of the accused is a 41-year-old father of six who earlier pleaded guilty to three counts of incest and one count of attempted rape.
He committed the offences with his eldest 17-year-old daughter and 14-year-old daughter last year.
He was sentenced to three years for all charges which he will serve concurrently.
Meanwhile, the other accused is a 77-year-old custom doctor.
He was tried for two counts of rape and one count of attempted rape but was convicted for one rape count only.
A medical report was provided to the Court after his conviction showing him as seriously sick.
Justice Francis Mwanesalua sentenced him to one-month imprisonment.
Justice Mwanesalua however says, his condition will be reviewed by the doctor today to see if he is fit to serve his term at the Rove prison headquarters.
The old man walked freely out of the High Court grounds to the hospital after his sentence was pronounced.
