The new MP-elect for Kia, Hograno and Havulei says he is humbled by his nomination for the country\’s top political post.
Jeremiah Manele is the candidate nominated by the Solomon Islands Peoples Democratic Coalition for the Prime Minister\’s post.
Reacting to the nomination in a media statement today, Mr Manele said he is humbled by the nomination and also appreciated the manner in which his nomination was made.
He said he thanks coalition members for their support and trust in him.
Meanwhile, the former Permanent Secretary and diplomat says this is a chance for Isabel to take leadership of Solomon Islands, and that others will appreciate this opportunity.
Jeremiah Manele also said he is determined to lead the country if he were given the opportunity.
