One of the country\’s top female Police officer has appeared in the Magistrate\’s Court this morning on personal larceny charges.
Her husband filed the case against her.
He claimed on two separate occasions in 2011 she stole a total of one hundred thousand dollars from him at a house in Tandai, Honiara.
This morning, the Court heard the defendant\’s lawyer is currently over seas and was not present for the proceedings.
Chief Magistrate Emmanuel Kouhota adjourned the matter for Friday to set a plea date.
