TIGE CATHOLIC COMMUNITY CELEBRATED NEWLY BUILT CHURCH BUILDING

The Tige Catholic Community in West Guadalcanal has celebrated the blessing of their newly built church – Our Lady of the Rosary.

SIBC\’s stringer for West Guadalcanal John Toki reports, the construction of the new Catholic Church began in 2005 and is viewed as a great achievement for the Tige community.

Toki reports, the celebration included a 3-day program of feasting and celebrations and more than 3,000 people around the Tangarare and Visale Parish attended the event.

The celebration program ended on Friday.
