The People\’s Progressive Party (PPP) has launched its manifesto in Auki Malaita Province today.
Party President Charles Dausabea told SIBC News, the intention of the party is to bring development to Malaita and and the rest of the Provinces in the country.
\”Our intention wholly in setting up this party is to bring development to Malaita as our first and top priority, so we see that this nation Solomon Islands has continued to ignore the real issue that needs to be addressed.\”
Mr Dausabea adds, after the launch, PPP is determined to form part of the next government to work out solutions to address the welfare of the rural Solomon Islands.
A number of prominent leaders around the country have attended the launch this morning.
