The match held at the SINU Rugby field has seen Matangiki crowned as the winner of the 2014 Rugby champions after defeating Avaiki in the final showdown yesterday.
Matangiki has defeated Avaiki 15-6.
Meanwhile, the Honiara Rugby Union has acknowledged the support from major sponsor Matson Silent World Shipping Services and other stakeholders for a successful season.
