Eleven students will receive Taiwanese scholarships from the Republic of China Taiwan Thursday this week, to undertake bachelors degree studies in Taiwan.
A media advisory from the Taiwanese Embassy in Honiara says His Excellency Mr. Victor Te-sun YU, Taiwanese Ambassador to Solomon Islands will present the students their awards.
The Minister for Education and Human Resource Development Dick Ha\’amori will be officiating the event.
Of the eleven students, four are from Malaita, two from the Western Province while the rest are from Central Islands, Choiseul, Guadalcanal, Makira and Temotu Provinces.
