Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo conveys his congratulations to the Government and people of France on their National Day- celebrated on July 14 each year.
In a statement to the French nationals residing in the country, Mr Lilo says he extends his warmest greetings to them on this day.
He says the Solomon Islands Government greatly appreciates the excellent cooperation long shared by both countries and the goodwill and friendship warmly enjoyed by peoples of both nations.
The Prime Minister says France is an effective development partner and a good friend, especially its contributions in the European Union, EU, and other regional and international organisations that benefits Solomon Islands.
Mr Lilo adds, on this occasion, may God continue to bless the two countries as they look forward to strengthening their much valued ties.
Prime Minister Lilo also conveyed best wishes for a very happy Bastille Day, from the Government and people of Solomon Islands.
