BILLS AND LEGISLATION COMMITTEE CALLS FOR SUBMISSIONS

The Parliamentary Bills and Legislation Committee is calling for written submissions for its inquiry into the Business Names Bill.

In a statement posted on its web site, the Committee says it is seeking submissions from individuals, groups and organizations.

The Business Names Bill wants to provide for the registration and use of business names, and repeal the Registration of the Business Name Act.

The closing date for submissions is on May 16.
