Fiji\’s Hawaiian based artist George Fiji Veikoso has dedicated his current tour in the country to two local women who helped in his upbringing.
Mr Veikoso recalled, when he was growing up as a child at the Rawaga settlement, outside Suva city, two Solomon Islands women whom he cannot vividly recall their full names were his house girls.
He said, the two women contributed in shaping his life until he was about 12 years old.
Mr Veikoso said, he was told one of the women had passed on.
He is hoping to meet the surviving one during his tour.
Meanwhile, Mr Veikoso and the popular \’Spawn Breeze\’ had staged two stunning gigs over the past two nights.
