Three men and three women charged with attempting to murder an elderly man in Ngela, last year appeared this morning at the Magistrate Court.
Hubert Hebo, Daniel Koeta, a 17-year-old boy, Clarah Palmer, Ella Maurianibata and Mary Dora are facing one count each of attempted murder.
At their appearance this morning, the accused were told their case is adjourned for seven days.
This is for them to decide which form of preliminary inquiry they would prefer to be conducted against them.
The Court heard one of the lawyers representing a male accused is on leave, and the lawyer representing all the females is absent.
The presiding Magistrate ordered the absent lawyer Samuel Balea to turn up in Court on 22nd June for the next appearance.
