The Magistrate Court has this morning confirmed a new trial date for Member of Parliament for East Guadalcanal Bradley Tovosia and Guadalcanal Premier Anthony Veke.
Principal Magistrate Augustine Aulanga set the new hearing date from 6th June to 1st of July.
Magistrate Aulanga says the trial will be a lengthy one with twelve witnesses each from the prosecution and defence.
Meanwhile, the Court has varied the bail conditions for Mr Veke and Honourable Tovosia to travel overseas.
They will be out of the country from this month until May.
Tovosia and Veke are each facing four counts of abuse of office and seven counts of attempted abuse of office.
