PROVINCES ADVISED TO UPDATE IMPACTS OF CURRENT WEATHER

The National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) has advised all Provincial Disaster Officers (PDOs), to update their respective Provincial Disaster Committees, the impacts of the current bad weather in their area.

This should assist the NDMO gauge how much it needs to prepare for possible damages.

In a statement, NDMO encourages people residing along river banks and streams including low-lying areas to be on the lookout for possible flooding.

The Office had already conducted internal briefings in preparation to tackle the effects of the bad weather.
