The Solomon Airlines has announced its business plan to venture into its next platform.
Airlines Chief Executive Officer, Ron Sumsum made the announcement at the closing of the \’Solomon Airlines – Next Platform\’ sales and marketing conference at the Heritage Park Hotel in Honiara recently.
A statement from the Airlines said this will enable the national flag carrier to venture into a Sydney service, a direct Nadi service and the signing of a codeshare agreement with Qantas.
Meanwhile, Captain Sumsum said the airline is ready to take the next steps to develop a product truly representative of both the national carrier and the Solomon Islands, adding that moving the airline forward would require partnerships.
The airline is looking forward to building a further partnership with other airlines as well as the Solomon Islands Government to create a robust national flag carrier.
