The Parliamentary Opposition Leader Hon. Jeremiah Manele has congratulated the newly appointed Special Coordinator to the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands (RAMSI) Mr Quinton Devlin.
In a statement today, Mr Manele says as the leader of the alternative government, he has confidence in Mr Devlin\’s leadership abilities to provide strong and able leadership to the mission as it is undergoing transitional period.
The Opposition leader says he is optimistic under the leadership guidance of Mr Devlin, RAMSI will continue to provide an enabling environment for the government and its citizens to conduct their daily businesses.
Mr Manele reassures the new RAMSI Coordinator of the Parliamentary Opposition\’s commitment towards the ongoing partnership and cordial relations RAMSI has established with Solomon Islands, which has grown from strength to strength over the years.
