NEW JUDGE FOR HIGH COURT

A new Judge has been appointed to the High Court bench.

He is John Keniapisia a former Special Secretary to the Prime Minister and private lawyer.

The Ministry of Justice and legal Affairs Permanent Secretary Freddy Me\’esa says Mr. Keneapisia should take up his post now as he was already endorsed by the Judicial Legal Services Commission last month Mr. Me\’esa says they advertised for two positions, but only one was taken.

Mr Keniapisia joins four other local judges at the High Court.
