NORMAL RAINFALL MOST LIKELY FOR SOLS FROM FEB-APR

Normal rainfall is most likely for Solomon Islands from February to April this year.

The Solomon Islands Meteorological Service Division confirmed this in a statement, yesterday.

The statement said the normal rainfall will come after the South Pacific Convergence Zone is positioned to its normal at this time of the year.

This means most parts of the country, like the Central and Eastern regions, are likely to experience normal rainfall during this time.

SIBC News understands the Tropical Cyclone season in the country is normally from November to April.
