The West Honiara MP Hon. Namson Tran has donated $9,000 cash to Forum Solomon Islands International (FSII) Chief Executive Officer Benjamin Afuga.
A statement from FSII says this is in response to the social networking group\’s online appeal for donations to purchase two new nebulizer machines for the National Referral Hospital after the only machine at the outpatient department to threat asthmatic patients was stolen three weeks ago.
Handing over the cash money, West Honiara Constituency Development Officer, Brian Taupiri says Mr. Tran is pleased to respond positively to FSII\’s appeal.
Mr Taupiri says, the life saving machine is important for everyone including West Honiara voters and Constituents.
In response, FSII CEO Mr. Afuga acknowledge Hon. Tran\’s assistance to help purchase new nebulizer machines for the National Referral Hospital and other clinics in Honiara.
FSII has received donations of $10,800 with more pledges still coming in.
