The Solomon Islands National Teacher\’s Association (SINTA) now has a new General Secretary.
He is Robert Lafisi, a former Principal of Aligegeo Secondary School in Malaita province.
Mr Lafisi officially signed on as the new General Secretary before the SINTA National Executive Council in Honiara yesterday afternoon.
Among other guests during the signing was the Chief Education Officer for Honiara City Council Wayne Koebule and Guadalcanal Province Education Authority, Mesac Suia.
The post was vacant after the former General Secretary Samson Faisi\’s contract expired in May this year.
