An \”All Clear\” statement has been issued for Solomon Islands by the National Emergency Operations Centre after yesterday\’s earthquake.
The Centre issued the statement after Tsunami Dangerous rips and currents were caused by a strong earthquake near Russell Islands yesterday.
The Tsunami Dangerous rips and currents have safely passed all expected locations in the country and all warnings have been cancelled.
The statement said people can now safely return to their coastal communities.
People near the coastal waterways of Rennell Bellona, Southern parts of Guadalcanal, Southwest of Makira and Central provinces can now safely return to their coastal areas.
