A warrant of arrest has been issued against the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Rural Development, Selina Boso. Ms Boso failed to turn up in Court Monday this week for an interim mention on her case.
The warrant will be reviewed on July 13th.
Ms Boso is facing a charge of willfully failing to furnish information and produce documents under the Ombudsman\’s further provision Act.
The documents requested were information relating to the Rural Constituency Development Funds.
The Director of Public Prosecution confirmed her trial has been fixed for early August.
