Fifteen police officers have been promoted to Inspector rank within the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force.
Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast announced the promotions in his media conference today.
The Police Commissioner said the 15 new Inspectors include three women.
\”It really is a good day for the police force, we\’re in the process of settling down a lot of our vacant posts and this is a big step forward, so I congratulated those who were being promoted. I said to them it\’s a very good day in your career, but it\’s a start of a lot of hard work.\”
