Earth Movers Logging Company operating the Barahau Camp, East Central Guadalcanal has been warned to step up its safety standards at work or forced to leave.
A landowning representative, Chief Mala Uvi Kabe says his people made the call amidst frequent accidents which at times causes death to employees.
Mr Uvi Kabe says an accident last month has claimed the life of a worker.
The Chief adds, a few days ago there was another accident – luckily no one was killed.
