The Solomon Islands 37th Independence Anniversary is somewhat historical for the Law Enforcement Officers of the Honiara City Council as it was the first for them to participate as a separate platoon during the parade celebrations.
The Division\’s Chairman, Charles Aiwosuga describe his officers participation in the platoon parade as a great achievement, saying it was a historical occasion.
Mr Aiwosuga also thanked the Royal Solomon Islands Police Commissioner and his senior officers for including the HCC Law Enforcement Officers in the official parade.
Meanwhile, head of the HCC Law Enforcement Division Mr Robert Madeo said he was very proud with his boys performance during the Independence parade.
