In sports, 13 local athletes from Athletics Solomon have been selected to participate in the upcoming South Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea next month.
This was confirmed by Solomon Islands National Athletics Head Coach Jocelyn Taurikeni.
In an interview with SIBC Tok Sports, Ms Taurikeni said the athletes will take part in the long distance and sprinter.
She said one male and three female will take part in the long distance, adding, eight athletes will take part in sprint category.
The athletes are among the 22 Sports federation from Solomon Islands who will represent the country in the Pacific Games next month in Papua New Guinea.
